Michele Pepperell, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Michele Pepperell is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and she is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was born and raised in Central Illinois. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois and her medical school training at Southern Illinois University. She relocated to Dallas to complete her OB/Gyn residency at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital. During her time at Parkland, she received multiple honors and distinctions. She was twice the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award, and was a four-time recipient of awards commending her contributions to the education of residents and medical students. Additionally, she served as Chief Resident with Drs. Bailey and Petrovski during her fourth year.
After completing her residency, Dr. Pepperell returned to her hometown of Peoria, Illinois, where she was in a busy private practice for four years. While in Illinois, she was honored to receive many patient commendations. In 2008 the great opportunity to work with the doctors at Frisco OB/GYN drew her back to the Dallas area. Dr Michele Pepperell, her husband Dr. Kris Pepperell and their daughter Grace live in McKinney with their two dogs, Teddy and Baila.
During her first year of practice, Dr Pepperell gained a new perspective on obstetrics when she gave birth to her daughter. Being a mother herself has helped her empathize with many of her patients. This ability to relate with her patients was a large contributing factor in being selected as a 'Mom-Approved doc' with Dallas Child Magazine in 2012 as well as 'Best OBGYN in Frisco' 2010. Dr. Pepperell focuses not only on obstetrics, but all parts of women's health. Her attention to patients' individual needs allows her to partner with them to make their best healthcare choices.
